B.Y5 Gallery invites artists and curators to submit proposals for solo exhibitions, group exhibitions, and activities in the gallery space for 2025-2026.

B.Y5 Gallery was established in 2017 to serve as a platform and home for artists in the fields of art and design. The gallery belongs to the Ceramics & Crafts Association of Israel, which brings together artists from various creative fields and materials, and works to promote and expand the dialogue between the fields of craft, art, and design. The gallery hosts solo exhibitions, group exhibitions, and annual exhibitions by association members and guest artists.

B.Y5 Gallery is a space for display, discussion, and research in the fields of craft, art, and design, and seeks to encourage interdisciplinary dialogue with other cultural and social fields.

Artists and/or curators interested in proposing an exhibition and/or other activity for the B.Y5 Gallery are invited to send proposals to the email address by5caai@gmail.com

Proposals should be submitted according to the attached parameters. A proposal that does not include all the requested details will not be considered.

Submitting a proposal for an exhibition at the gallery:

1. In the email subject line, please write “Proposal for Exhibition and/or Activity” and the name of the artist/curator.
2. Please attach the proposal to the email in a single file, in WORD or PDF format.
3. The attached file should include:

A. Full contact details of the artist and curator (name, phone number, email address)

B. Exhibition title (even if it is a temporary title)

C. Exhibition theme

D. A well-written concept of the exhibition (up to 400 words)

E. A variety of photographs and sketches of the works to be exhibited

F. CVs of the artist/artists participating in the exhibition and the curator’s CV

G. A plan/thoughts on how to install the exhibition in the gallery space (if any)

The deadline for submitting a proposal for an exhibition for 2025-2026: 31.12.2024

The gallery team will review the proposals. Responses will be given during January 2025.

The gallery reserves the right to propose collaborations between different proposals or to consider the possibility of other combinations.

The presentation in the gallery space involves partial participation in covering the expenses.
