Several months ago, a new exhibition space was inaugurated at the B.Y5 Gallery, belonging to the Ceramics & Crafts Association of Israel: B.Y5 Library.

B.Y5 Library is an intimate space designed to showcase small, curated exhibitions. Its aim is to enable artists to exhibit a small body of work, works in progress, material experiments, or studio-based creations – those that are not typical of the artist’s recognized and primary style.

We invite artists and curators to submit proposals for exhibitions at B.Y5 Library. Each proposal should include the following details: Artist/Curator’s name and contact information Exhibition title/theme + description of the research/exhibition (up to 150 words) Installation proposal Up to 10 selected images

Proposals should be sent by December 31, 2024, to by5caai@gmail.com. Please indicate “Proposal for B.Y5 Library” in the email subject line.

Main wall: 190 cm wide

Perpendicular wall: 89 cm wide

Height: 5 meters

Exhibition conditions at B.Y5 Library:

Exhibiting at B.Y5 Library is free of charge.

The opening of the exhibition at B.Y5 Library and the duration of the exhibition coincide with and are coordinated with the exhibition taking place in the main space of the B.Y5 Gallery.

The exhibition at B.Y5 Library is mentioned on the invitation that the gallery issues for the exhibition in the main space.

The gallery handles PR for both exhibitions. The artist is required to be present at the gallery on weekends according to prior coordination with the artist exhibiting in the main space.

The artist is required to contribute 40% of their sales proceeds from the exhibition to the gallery’s expenses.
