Save the Israeli Ceramic and Craft Artists Community

BY.5 Gallery and the Ceramic and Craft Association of Israel are our home.         A home for hundreds of artists creating in ceramics and craft.

 Now, our home is in danger.

The recent years have been exceptionally challenging, preventing us from holding the activities that have served for years as a magnet for ceramic and craft artists and provided a significant source of income for the Association and the BY.5 Gallery. Furthermore, government support has been significantly reduced.

The Ceramic and Craft Association of Israel was founded in 1974. For fifty years, it has worked to promote ceramics and craft, establishing them as central and valued disciplines within the Israeli art world.

The Association strengthens the creative community by:

• Providing professional opportunities through exhibitions at Gallery BY.5 in Tel Aviv and in galleries and museums nationwide.
• Partnering in the Arts and Design Biennale at the Eretz Israel Museum.
• Hosting international lectures, conferences, and workshops.
• Publishing 1280°, the leading journal for material culture.
